As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Mae Edwards; and his son Donald A. Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Mike E. Edwards (Brenda) and Cindy Swearinger; his grandchildren, Summer Edmunds (Kyle), Austin Swearinger (Brittany) and Savannah Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Kendal, Riley and Maddux.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
