She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Timmons Maddox and Billie Rose; her husband Jerry Freeland of Atlanta; and her pets, Maggie, Doc, Sherlock and Lucky.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Watkins (Sharon) of Evans and Carl Watkins, Jr (Niki) of Grovetown; her siblings, Lois Maddox of North Augusta, Casey Prew of Oklahoma and Charles Maddox of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Leanna Christensen of Washington, Thomas Watkins of Grovetown, Sherry Christensen of Evans, Isabella Watkins, Gabriella Watkins of Grovetown, Charisma Rhodes of Atlanta, Lauren Davis and Taylor Davis of Evans.
