She was predeceased by: her parents, Hammond Hammond and Eleanor Phillips Hammond. She is survived by: her children, Jamey (Cheryl Camak), Jody (Roxanne Camak), Lael (Lynne Camak) and Leda (Ian Goodman); her grandchildren, Priscilla Nelson (Richard), Liorah Camak, Ramona Milam (Chase), Moriah Smith (Cody), Audrey Strickland (Brennen), Arlen Camak (Madison), Graham Camak, Sophia Camak, Amelia Ake (Sam), Katherine Camak, Claire Camak, Christopher "Cosi" Goodman and Xaverie Goodman; and her great grandchildren, A. J. Nelson, Madeleine Nelson, Warren Smith and Emmett Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
