With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Wayne Powell of Grovetown, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Powell and Lucille Sutherland Powell; and his siblings, Mary Arnold and Cleve "Man" Powell. He is survived by: his wife Karon Powell; his sons, John Powell (Melissa) of Thomson and Duane Powell of Norwood; his grandchildren, Megan Loveday (Bryan), Nicole Powell, Allen Powell, Jackson Powell, Savannah Powell, Cody Cowart, Cole Cowart, Meghann Pentecost, Jackson Pentecost and Markell Hobbs; and his siblings, David Powell (Linda) of McBean, Doug Powell of Waynesboro and Margaret Corley of Hephzibah. He is also survived by 13 Great-grandchildren.
