He is survived by: his wife Lucy Mae Owens Prather of Griffin, GA; his children, Rodney Prather (Angela) of Tyrone, GA and Tammy Milner (Johnny) of Williamson, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Brooks of Macon, GA and Jannie Powell (Paul) of Milner, GA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
