He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Kulp. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Howard Kulp; his daughter Holli Rakestraw (Ryan); his mother Phyllis Hollis Watkins; and his brothers, Robert Kulp, Ben Kulp, Rob Clark and Wes Chandler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (2617 Vinson Hwy, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
