She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Wilson Raker, Jr.; and her parents, Irene Teresa Townsend (Danehy) and Thomas Jefferson Townsend. She is survived by: the fathers of children, Jeff (Krystal), Tracy (David), Chris (Alicia) and Franny (Shane); and her siblings, Judith Sager of Texas and Tom Townsend (Anne) of Washington. She is also survived by children gave her 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors (2580 GA-42, McDonough, GA 30253). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
