He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Scoggins and Isma Quick Scoggins; and his brothers, Nesby and Rayford Scoggins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Scoggins; his children, Raybon Scoggins, Jr. (Donna), Fonda Shepard (Tony) and Tory Scoggins; his grandsons, Brennan Scoggins (Becca), Sheldon Scoggins (Cait), Jacob Shepard (Clare) and Caleb Shepard (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Jonah, Nathan, Saylor and Cole; and his siblings, Virgil Scoggins, Evelyn Wilkerson, Ann Brooks, Annie Mae Gwyn, Ruth Chambers, Edna Wilson and Gail Pryor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
