Though Lucy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Walker Horsley and Lucy Jane Harris Horsley; and her husband Billie Joe Smith. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Dale Smith (Angi), Walter Earl Smith (Debra) and Shirley Marie Conine (George); her grandchildren, Hayden Conine, Devin Conine (Abby) and JorJa Johnson (Tristen); her great grandchildren, Dharok and Gage; and her brother Wiley Walker "Pete" Horsley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
