With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry P. Alewine of Griffin, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Jason Alewine and Glenn Engel. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Alewine; his sons, Gary Alewine, Adam Engel and Mark Engel; and his grandchildren, Krystal, Brier, Ava, Vade, Ashley, Alex, Chance, Corey, Miranda, Michael, Josh, Brian, Jonathan, Bethany and Austin. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Doster Cemetery.
