Josephine G. Hitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine G. Hitt of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Waits and Martha Waits (Glenn Hitt). She is survived by: her sons, Billy Lowry (Sherry) and Sammy Lowry; her grandchildren, Nicholas Lowry (Tonia), Christopher Lowry (Marie), Lindsey Brewer (Andrea) and Thomas Brewer (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Bailey, Brooklyn, Averi, Geordan, Peyton and Calliope; and her sisters, Brenda Musto, Dyann Pennington and Darlene Reeves. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Sunny Side Community Church (1840 Patterson Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
