With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Conley of Griffin, Georgia, born in Barnesville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Conley and Emily Clark Conley; and his sister Pat Conley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Stansell Conley; and his sister-in-law Betty Stansell Chambers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
