With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeptha Colinza Polk Jr. of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeptha Colinza Polk, Sr. and Maggie Loucille McSwain Polk; his brother Carl Clines; and his son Jeffery Charles Polk. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Rulane Blair Polk; his daughter Tracy Dycus; his daughter-in-law Kathy Polk; his grandchildren, Jake Dycus (Hope), Jesse Dycus (Lindsey), Tala Dycus, Brittany Thomas (John Wayne Thomas) and Brianna Greene (Tristan); and his great grandchildren, Finley, Harper Thomas, Jansen and Greene.

A graveside service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224).
