The memory of Glenn E. Simmons of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Simmons and Isabel Simmons (Campbell); and his siblings, Antha May Chapman, Martha Ann Simmons, Mary Alice Simmons and Charles Robert Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Simmons (Watkins); his sons, Gregory Lee Dale (Alaina) and Andrew Glenn Simmons; and his siblings, William Clarence Simmons, French Lee Simmons, Raymond Theodore Simmons, Ray "Bumpy" Simmons, James Amos Simmons, Peggy Jean Devore, Fay Simmons and Rachel Mae Whetzel. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Bear Funeral Home (14 Green Hill Ln, Churchville, VA 24421). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
