Gene Kierbow Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Kierbow in Griffin, Georgia, born in Manchester, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gene leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Albert Kierbow and Mary Alice Swanson Kierbow. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kierbow; his children, Kimberly Dawn Kierbow, Lisa Kierbow Mathews (Bruce) and Derek Murphy (Bethany); his grandchildren, Kirbi Mathews and Madi Murphy; and his sister Louise Owsley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
