With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Dutton of Griffin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sanders and Jean George Sanders (Bobby Joe Dutton); her son David Pitts; and her brother Ray Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Chris Pitts and Amanda Chambers; her stepchild Bubba Dutton (Michelle); her grandchildren, Brittany Pope (Robert), Reba Couch (Tommy), Cody Dutton (Leah), Blake Tarleton, Chandler Sims (Savannah), Chandler Pitts and Laina Chambers; her great grandchildren, Rylee Ann Pope, Charleigh Pope, Gabriel Shivers, Pyper Dutton, Paxton Dutton, Bentley Ross, Lorali Couch and Levi Sims; and her brother George Sanders. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
