She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Oliver and Dorothy Lamberson Hawley. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lynn Mizelle; her children, Scott Robert Mizelle (Leslie) of Cary and Shelly Mizelle Eastman (Brian) of Scottsdale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Kyle Oliver Eastman and Kate Diane Eastman; her sister Patricia Ellen Hawley Thompson; her nephew Andrew McDuffy Thompson; her niece Heather Michelle Grant; and her siblings, Eddie Mizelle, Barbara Price and Claire Beeland.
