She was predeceased by: her sisters-in-law, Shirley Morgan, Peggy McCard and Barbara Baggley. She is survived by: her husband John W. Burks; her son Marcus J. Burks; her foster sisters, Robin Clarke Stone and Lorelei Woelfel Woods; her siblings-in-law, Vicki, Mary Jane Krenek and William (Betty Baggley); her stepgranddaughters, Ophelia, Balerie Rose and Brittani; her brother Irving; her sister-in-law Patricia Dafoe; her parents-in-law, Grace Burks-Baggley and Alvin Burks; her stepfather-in-law Gene Baggley; her brothers-in-law, Johnny Burks, Alvin Burks Jr. and Larry Baggley; and also, Isabella Rose, Herbert and Madeene Dafoe. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, + nephews.
