He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Pirkle. He is survived by: his children, Vida Deann Hammack (Chip), David Johnathan Pirkle and Nathan Watson Pirkle; and his grandson Noah Thomas Hammack. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
