It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy Harvey Smith (Griffin, Georgia), who passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Davis Harvey and Ruby Duke Harvey; her sister Charlotte Harvey Gilchrist; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Smith Wolf, Thomas Gilbert Gilchrist and Daniel Wolf.
She is survived by: her husband John J. "Jack" Smith, Jr.; her children, Claire Smith Manning (Dexter) of Peachtree City and James Davis Smith (Janet) of Griffin; her grandchildren, Jennifer Manning Ingram (Cason), Whitney Manning Perry (Nick), Bradley Keith Manning (Tori), Hallie Davis Smith (Thai) and Thomas Neal Smith; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Rachel Ingram, Ella and Liam Perry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
