He is survived by: his wife Merrilyn Aiken Crowder; his children, Charles Alvan Crowder, Jr. and Ivy Goolsby (Carl); his grandchildren, William Oliver (Kelly Wegel), Lindsay Crowder, Merry Neal (Trevor), Bella Spencer, Gabriel Spencer and Ian Spencer; and his great grandchild Noah Neal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
