He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Lane Knowles; and his son Charles. He is survived by: his father Carl Alton Knowles; his wife Myra; his daughter Lesa Davis (Brad); his daughter-in-law Jane Knowles; his grandchildren, Clay Davis (Katherine), Anna Davis, Kris Knowles (Kelley) and Patrick Knowles (Chandler); his great grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Harrison Davis, Watson Knowles and Charlotte Knowles; and his stepchildren, Lee (Lee), Thomas (Elizabeth) and Vin (Hattie).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1401 Maple Dr, Griffin, GA 30224). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
