She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kitchin Compton and Hilda Myree Thomason; her husband Billy Lee Thomas; her daughter Rose Myree Thomas Johns; and her granddaughter Vanna Suzette Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, James Compton Thomas (Sue), Virginia Thomas Smith (David) and Billy Lee Thomas, Jr. (Lee); her grandchildren, James Clifford "Chip" Johns, Jr., Joshua Guy Thomas (Alicia), Samuel Jarvis Holloway, David Thomas Smith, Andrea Leigh Smith, Meghan Elizabeth Thomas, Kylee Anne Thomas Tinney (Clint) and William Lee Willingham-Thomas; her great grandchildren, Brice Johns, Hailey Johns, Laila Thomas, Jadon Thomas, Makayla Lunsford, Madilyn Holloway, Braden Holloway, Eli Smith, Luke Smith, Clark Tinney and Tucker Tinney; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Thomas Harwell; and her caregiver Bridgette Bridges. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
