It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Keith Hamilton of Greenville, Georgia, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Peggy Keith farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Peggy Keith is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Keith and Tommie Lou Woodruff Keith; her husband James Dewey Hamilton; her sons, Billy Ray Hamilton and Jimmy Lee Hamilton; and her siblings, Alice Keith Dawson and Dewey Eugene Keith.
She is survived by: her sons, James Robert Hamilton (Teresa) of Greenville, Homer Eugene Hamilton of Greenville and John Dewey Hamilton of Greenville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
