He is survived by: his wife Ellen White Cobb; his children, Tammy Cape (Jeff), Sam Cobb (Pam), Penny Mitchell (William), Bessie Frazier (Doug), Anthony Cobb (Daron) and Nodja Williamson (Marcus); his brother Gay Cobb; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris), Jabo (Melinda), Hope (Charles), Michael (Makia), Telina (KC), Kayla (Brandon), Dustin (Shanan), Noelle (Danny), Tresden, Shannon (Pierre), Alexis, Alyssa (Justin), Alena (Jeric), Sammy, Austin (Hannah), Lacy, Chase, Megan (Nathan) and Aaron; and also Donny Shelton. He is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
