He is survived by: his wife Luria Sewell; his children, Betty, Ector Jr., Carl (Marion), Charlie (Evelyn), Mark (Shelia) and Alex; his sisters, Willie Pearl and Juanita; and his sisters-in-law, Mattie (Johnny), Charlie Mae (George), Martha Louis (Grady), Evelyn and Bessie. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren, for a total of ninety grandchildren.
