She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pleasant and Levette Miller Pleasant; her husband Arnold Joseph; and her brother Thomas Pleasant. She is survived by: her children, Louise Eddington of Greensboro, Doreen Joseph of New York and Phillip Joseph (Valerie) of New York; her sister Abby Pleasant Streeter of New York; and her grandchildren, Yvette Joseph of New York, Noah LaRoche of Georgia, Yuwnas Campbell of Florida, Khaalid Eddington of Florida, Kiturah Eddington of Georgia, Salaam LaRoche of Georgia, Hawwah Morton of Georgia, Salha Peart of Georgia and Sarah Johnson of Georgia. She is also survived by 33 great grand children; and 6 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Memorial Park (371 Log Cabin Rd, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
