She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Hardeman Young and Betty Jean Rowland Young; and her brothers, Ray Young and Tony Young. She is survived by: her husband Fred Hampton of Greensboro, GA; her children, Kathleen Renee Evans, Robin Nichole Sisson, Ward Thomas Evans (Rhonda Evans), Fredrick Eugene Hampton (Joy Hampton) and Robert Jason Hampton (Ammie Hampton); and her sisters, Beth Lewis, Connie McCullough, Virginia Morgan and Janice Rocha. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make donations to St Judes hospital in Memory of Sandra Hampton.
