It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Wood of Greensboro, Georgia, born in Winterville, Georgia, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Thomas Dover of Habersham County and Holly Ann Fleeman Dover of Oglethorpe County; her husband William Thomas Wood; her son Waymon Thomas Wood; her great grandchild Brandon Thompson; and her siblings, Annie Lou Lyle, Ruby Lee Gunn, Guy Dover, J. T. Dover, Bishop Dover, Doris Burt and Mae Moore.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Wood (Connie) of Greensboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Cates, Jason Bryan, Leigh Ann Thompson, Michael Wood, Jeremy Bryan, Tonya Chambliss and Beth Hall. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
