He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Maurice Mitchell and Melba Rogers Mitchell. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Barnes of Greensboro; his sons, Brandon Mitchell (Stephanie), Cameron Mitchell (Kelly) and Stephen Mitchell; his grandchildren, Alyssa Adkins, Alexus Luciano, Alayna Mitchell, Alavia Mitchell, Blane Mitchell, Evan Mitchell and Lilly Mitchell; and his sister Selenda Lozano (Chuck).
