He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Brown Stevens of Greensboro, GA; his children, Robert Arthur Stevens, Jr. (Lynn) of Atlanta, GA, James Douglas Stevens (Susan) of Franklin, MI, Carey Jane Stevens Broadwater (Keith) of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Brown Stevens (Sandy) of South Riding, VA; his grandchildren, Joanna Lynn Stevens Spalding (Phinizy), Thomas James Stevens, James Douglas Stevens Jr. (Sydney), Elizabeth Jane Stevens, Amanda Gail Stevens, Rachel Jean Stevens, Leah May Stevens and Abigail Jane Broadwater; and his great grandchildren, Robert P. Spalding, Camille E. Spalding and Henrik I. Stevens. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
