He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Pauline Jackson Channell Richardson; his children, Sara Lynn Bryant (Benjie) of Greensboro, GA, Laura Mason (Steve) of Athens, GA, Mel Channell of Athens, GA and Carrie Shepherd (Scott) of Athens, GA; his grandchildren, Caroline Bryant, Alyson Richards (Conrad), Will Sellers, Isabelle Channell, Robert Channell IV, John Shepherd, Grace Mason, Henry Shepherd and Liza Shepherd; and his brother Paul Jackson Channell (Diane). He was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.
