He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Doris Wiggins and Alma Ruth Rosier Wiggins; and his son Raymond Chalmers Wiggins, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ione Wiggins; his children, Robin Lynn Taylor of Thomson, GA, Michael Shawn Wiggins (Sheri), Rodney Chad Wiggins (Amanda) and Regina Faith Wiggins of Greensboro, GA; and his grandchildren, Tony Taylor, Selena Nickolson, Sylvia Justice, Stephanie Morris, Victoria Wiggins, Randy Wiggins, Rhett Phillips, Dylan Butler and Ayla Phillips. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 63.
