He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Purdy; his children, Brad Long (Dawn) of Statham, GA, Chris Purdy (Jennifer) of Gainesville, GA, Rhannon Purdy of Covington, GA and Brian Long (Melisa) of Arnoldsville, GA; and his pets, Buttons and Teddy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many close friends.
