With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Eloise Cawthon of Greensboro, Georgia, born in Cairo, Georgia, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Eloise Cawthon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Irwin Gandy and Lois Hughes Gandy; her husband John Wilbur Cawthon, Jr.; and her brother Hugh Irwin Gandy. She is survived by: her children, Debra Taylor (Jeff) of Mt. Airy, MD, John Stephen Cawthon of Greensboro, GA, Ken Cawthon (Kathy) of Greensboro, GA and Jeff Cawthon (Tracy) of Ellaville, GA; and her grandchildren, Matthew Taylor (Stephanie), Allison Bolling (Troy), Michelle Taylor, Jessi Flynn (Greg), Maggie Cawthon, Polly Cawthon, Kristy Cawthon, Becky Schuyler (Brad), April Anders and Ray Anders (Brandi). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
