She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Edwards; her brothers, Thomas Randolph Shelton and Jackie Shelton; her daughter Barbara Jane Edwards; and her son-in-law Larry Higdon.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Agnes Yearwood (Johnny) of Greensboro, GA, Margaret Holland (Gene) of Jackson, GA, Emily Callaway (David) of Greensboro, GA and Fred Edwards (Kathy) of Greensboro, GA; her brother James D. Shelton (Sandra) of Crawfordville, GA; and her grandchildren, Amanda Crater (Paul), Bonnie Chipman (Jason), Rodney Trowell, Shane Yearwood (Emily), Adam Yearwood Jamie Edwards (Kelly), David Edwards, Anna Higdon, Dena Folds (Spenser), Adam Yearwood, Ethan Yearwood and Jamie Edwards. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
