He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clyde Wright and Annie Jewel Creel Wright; and his siblings, Thomas Clyde "Tommy" Wright, Jr. and Frances Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Wright of Greensboro, GA; his children, Michael Shane Wright of Sheffield, AL and Cynthia Leigh Wright of Lawrenceville, GA; his sister Shirley Clanton (George) of Columbia, TN; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Wright (Shelby), Garrett Wright, Grayson Wright and Jackson Wright (Sarabeth); and his great grandchildren, Elijah Wright and Elliana Wright.

The family requests no flowers but any memorials be made to Lake Oconee Church of Christ, 4700 Carey Station Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
