He was predeceased by: his wife Meryl Laura Hammond; and his brother Carey Hammond (Betty). He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Lynn Hammond of Mount Pleasant, SC and Kelly Hammond of Miami, FL; his brother Jim Hammond (Sue Ellen); and his grandchildren, Trey, Doug, Parker, Curtis Laurence, James and Caitlyn Hunt.
