He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Melick; his brother Donald Cegala; his grandchildren, Jennifer Kassay (Vince), David Warner (Tracey), Ashley Marlow (Justin), Melanie Dombroski (Derek), Drew Maher (Danielle), Rebecca Harrison, Laura Kate Gettmann (John David), Cameron Cegala (Brian), Tyler Renzi (Jasmine), Stephanie Morris (Alex) and Madaline Fowler (Matthew); his stepgrandchildren, Andria O'nion, Erin Orr (Greg), Andrea Kiser, Jessica Harrison (Joel) and Conner Gates; his great grandchildren, Lily, Jackson, Peyton, Ciara, Alex, Joshua, Hannah, John Marlin, Milly, Mary Reid, Mae, Caleb, Ivy, Riley, Ardyn, Pruett, Mary Neal, Alice, Lucy, Maggie and Olivia; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alex, Andrew, Chase, Ellie, Logan, Ella, Sawyer, Heidi and Oaklee.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Joe's name to the Knights of Columbus.
