He is survived by: his daughter Juanita Whaley Bires (John) of Greensboro, GA; and his grandchildren, John Kevin Bires of Carrollton, GA and Christina Bires Awtrey (Jonathan) of Westfield, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
