He is survived by: his wife Starr Courter of Greensboro, GA; his daughters, Ashley Pizzolado, Savannah Courter and Madison Courter; and his siblings, Grace Best and Robert Courter. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and nine great nieces and great nephews.
