He is survived by: his close friend Moore Colson; his wife Sue Colson; his daughters, Keely Colson Culpepper (William) of Birmingham, AL and Andrea Colson Tipps (Heath) of Birmingham, AL; and his grandchildren, Mary Carter Culpepper, William Gregory "Will" Culpepper, Emory Grace Tipps and Colson Lee Tipps.
