With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Carol Ashley of Greensboro, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Edith Carol's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edith Carol has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Black Berryman and Edith Alexander Berryman; her husband Wayne Ashley; and her brother Robert Lacy Barber. She is survived by: her brother Jim Berryman (Patsy) of Athens, GA; her nephew Jay Berryman (Kate); her niece Jill Shearer; and also, Bo, Banks, Grey Berryman and James Shearer. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
