She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sodemann Fischer and Frances Sykes Fischer. She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Bowers (Lynn) of Greensboro, GA and John Bowers (Paula) of Olive Branch, MS; her grandchildren, Christopher Bowers (Andrea) of Conyers, GA, Beth Bowers Abbott (Anthony) of Marietta, GA, Jessica Bowers Bryant (Steven) of Biloxi, MS and Anna Bowers (Bryce Long) of Memphis, TN; her great grandchildren, Rhys, Finchley, Penelope Abbott, Gray Long and Ellis Bryant; and her sister Ann Fischer Byars of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Bede's Episcopal Church (2601 Henderson Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30345). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
