It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Callaway of Greensboro, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Felton Callaway and Annette Ogletree Callaway; his sisters, Linda Ansley, Betty Christie and Barbara Callaway; his grandson Garrett Keith Callaway; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Clements of Siloam, GA.; his children, Larry Callaway of Edgefield, SC and Bobbie Callaway of Bogart, GA; his sisters, Gloria McAvoy (Billy) and Emily Dunn; his brother-in-law Sonny Ansley; his grandchildren, Avery Tylor Callaway and Jackson Curtis Callaway; and also Clements.
Any memorials may be made to Nathanael Greene Academy, P. O. Box 109, Siloam, GA 30665 for the renovation of the gym floor.
