He is survived by: his wife Beverly Needham Childress; his sons, Jeff Childress of Grayson and Eric; his daughter-in-law Ashley Childress of Chelsea, AL; his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Peyton and Hudson Childress; his siblings, Susan Lawrence of Smyrna and Robert; and his sister-in-law June Childress of Smyrna. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
