It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Litaker Hodgens (Grayson, Georgia), who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mothers, Tola James Litaker, Sr. and Hettie Watts Litaker; her children, Theresa Metzler (Terry), Damon Hodgens (Aleisa) and David Hodgens (Patti); her grandchildren, Jason Bridgman (Jessica), Erin Bridgman, Joshua Bridgman, Vanessa Hodgens, Olivia Norman (Jerome), Bradley Hodgens, Dewitt Walker (Shiva) and Lauren Trombley; her brothers, George Wesley Litaker and Tola Litaker, Jr.; her son-in-law Mike Metzler; and her grandson Aaron Bridgman. She was also cherished by eleven great grandchildren.
