It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Edwards of Grayson, Georgia, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ivy and Macie Bell Whitfield Stone; her husband Harold Thomas Edwards; her sons, James Edwards and Lynwood Edwards; and her siblings, Lily Mae Stone, Bessie Stone Bowes, Ella Stone Miller, James Stone, Deanie Stone and Franklin Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Edwards (Betty) of Pensacola, FL, Debra Edwards Harnois (Carey) of Grayson, GA, Charles Edwards of Valdosta, GA and Douglas Edwards of Valdosta, GA; and her sister Katie Stone Rimmer (Jo Ann Edwards) of Roxboro, NC. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and many, many beloved nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of cherished friends.
