He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold John and Maurine. He is survived by: his wife Koleen Pratt; his children, Brynn Stewart (Nick), Astyn Crawford (Eean), Shannyn Weiler (Caleb), Brittney Trayner (Josh), Dallin (Allyson), Parker and Spencer; and his siblings, Gerry Taylor (Mel), Kathleen Thacker (Reed), Harold John (Rhoana), Richard (Caroline), Susan Bryner (Cliff) and Elizabeth Ruben (David). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.

“My heart goes out to his loved ones. I was chatting with Larry Saturday afternoon at the Atlanta temple after he and his wife were serving there that afternoon. He was very happy and was telling me about his seven children and numerous grandchildren. I remember seeing him visit seminary classes early in the morning and attending seminary graduations in our stake. He seemed to love the work he did and loved His Saviour.”
