It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Phillips Ewing of Grayson, Georgia, who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harvie Ewing Jr.; her children, Wayne Ewing and Jeannine McCart; her parents, Frank Phillips and Carra Phillips; and her siblings, Imogene Phillips, Leon (Ernesteen Phillips), Lynette (Edgar Couch) and Helen Mason.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Vickie Ewing of Buford, GA; her daughter Valerie; and her children-in-law, Marvin Hewatt of Braselton, GA, Dwight McCart of Snellville, GA and Chi Chi Ewing of Monroe, GA. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; her 22 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 conditions, a private service to celebrate the life of Evelyn Phillips Ewing will be held for the immediate family on Friday, July 10, 2020.
